Coup de Taco

A coup d'état, or coup for short, is the sudden unconstitutional deposition of a legitimate government, usually by a small group of the existing state establishment—typically the military—to replace the deposed government with another. A coup succeeds when the group establishes their legitimacy by the attacked government failing to thwart them or by receiving the deposed government’s surrender.

Coup de Taco has planned its revolt using completely constitutional means. We are by no means affiliated with the military and we do not plan to use violence as a means of dislocation. In fact, we have spoken with the taco and it has already given its permission for us to initiate this revolution on its behalf. Why should a taco need to be Mexican? It is this type of racial profiling that impedes the social progress of our nation. Why should a taco need a shell? To restrict a taco to the confines of a shell is to tell our youth that we have established boundaries for the vastness of its dreams. Join us as we fight the cause for happy and health food across the globe. The taco has spoken. The revolution has begun.

We are a fushion style, gourmet food truck serving the University City neighborhood on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. Our food is healthy, international and innovative. We are a refreshing revolution within the fast food industry. Join us at 40th Street between Locust and Spruce.
